I’m learning that to be a grown-up, you have to learn to deal with discomfort. Not just physical discomfort but uncomfortable feelings. Sometimes you just have to live with those discomforting feelings. I usually want to “fix it” this very minute, but you can’t always do that, can you.
Here is something I can’t figure out: Why doesn’t the amount of ice in my Diet Coke affect my enjoyment of this delightful beverage? Both not enough and too much ice make for a suboptimal experience.
If I see another article about imposter syndrome, I’m going to tug on Superman’s cape and tell him Smallville is a podunk town full of rednecks.
I’m glad that Britney Griner is free. I’m also hoping that she changes her position and stands and listens to the National Anthem going forward. I also think any US player would be utterly insane to go back to Russia to play.
