When a big tech company says they are "doing it to improve privacy," they aren't doing it to improve privacy. They are doing it to lock you in more to their ecosystem and to make it harder for their competitors to show advertisements.
Regardless of what the law says, regardless of what should happen, regardless of what social norms and expectations are, regardless of how one might want things to be, if you type your email address into Google, it is no longer private.
One of the many reasons that I love the gym so much is that the people there support me, encourage me, and celebrate my successes. Another reason is that it is a great opportunity to support my friends, encourage them, and celebrate their successes.
You know what is a weird feeling? Holding your phone without a case. It feels like its naked.
No one has ever said, “God damn it, I wish I hadn't gone to the gym and done that workout. What was I thinking?” Ever.
