Things That Occur to Me #57

1. I want to go on record as saying I don't like it when faucets aerate the water. Just give me pure water.

2. Given enough time, cats and dogs would eventually learn to speak, as speaking would clearly enhance their ability to survive among humans. But!  Most cats and dogs that are pets are neutered/spayed, and they would not be able to pass on the traits needed.  Mind blown.

3. People often fail to realize that political parties are private organizations, and thus can choose their nominees based on any rules or processes that they please.

4. The 55 mph speed limit was one of the dumbest ideas in the history of the world. The only thing I can think of that is dumber is continuing to change the clocks twice a year.  Or the one dollar bill.

5. I never ever want to put on a "dressing gown."
