Am I the only one who notices that in shows set in the past, many things do not look new? For instance, I'm watching Deadwood, and one of the bar owners just got a bicycle. It would be a new bicycle, but it clearly is not a new bicycle. The prop department found an old bicycle and passed it off as a new one. I am mildly bothered by this.
