Thing to Think About of the Week: The government has spent zero time trying to make computers, TVs, air conditioners, washers, dryers and many other things cheaper. Those things are cheaper. They have expended a terrific amount of energy trying to make health care and a college education more affordable. Those things are more expensive. Draw your own conclusions.
Did you ever notice how country singers are always quarterbacks in their songs and never defensive players or tight ends?
Apparently, tug-o-war used to be an Olympic sport. I think we should dump break dancing as a “sport” and add tug-o-war back in. Can you imagine? It would awesome. Now that’s a sport.
I think an underrated benefit of AI is that it is starting to make people question whether things are true or not, and we could use a whole lot more of that around here.
