If you are wondering whether a video is AI-generated, a good thing to do is ask, “Who is filming this?” If you think about that, it often becomes clear that no reasonable person could or would film it. For instance, if the video is of a polar bear in the wild, and the camera is clearly a few yards away, it’s AI. No polar bear would ignore a human three yards away.
An apology costs you nothing.
I’m totally convinced that the number of ignorant people is exceeded greatly by the number of people who understand that they are ignorant.
After a week on vacation at the beach, I’ve concluded that the vast majority of people need to start paddling way sooner when they want to body surf.
It occurs to me that we should spend a lot more time thinking about the world of our great-great-grandchildren. The life we live is beyond the comprehension of our great-great-grandparents, so let’s do the same favor to our descendants.
